Diana's Sprouted Granola: FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS
All of the nuts and seeds in our healthy granolas are sprouted. Essentially, the process involves soaking the ingredients for several days, allowing them to germinate and begin sprouting. They are then rinsed thoroughly, and gently dehydrated, before being toasted and used in our signature granola recipes. Our low-carb granola may be safe for diabetics, although this depends on your personal situation and blood sugar sensitivities. We use organic maple syrup and/or raw honey for sweeteners, which are generally considered safe sugar substitutes for diabetics. Our formulas are also very rich in fiber, reducing the net carbohydrate levels, and protein-rich, which also helps to minimize spikes in blood sugar.
