Valentine's Day and Chocolate just go hand in hand. So to stay with our heart health theme in lieu of Heart Health month. We put together a delicious heart healthy recipe with dark chocolate. In part 1 I mentioned healthline and a few of the 15 incredibly heart healthy foods one that I didn't mention was dark chocolate. Dark chocolate is not only delicious but it's good for your heart and it's also considered an aphrodisiac. Another good reason to enjoy for Valentine's Day. DIANA’S SPROUTED
HEALTHY HEART
CHOCOLATE TREATS
24 mini paper cupcake liners
Bottom Layer
1/3 Cup Smooth Diana’s Sprouted Almond Butter or you can use peanut butter or cashew butter.
2 T Coconut oil or organic butter
2 T Honey
½ tsp vanilla extract
Mix till smooth, then fill mini cupcake liners half full
Place on a cookie sheet and set in freezer 30 mins.
Note: If you have a mini cupcake baking tray it works well to place cupcake liners in to help candy hold its shape.
While bottom layer is setting up prepare top layer
Top Layer
2 T Coconut oil or organic butter
1/3 Cup Smooth Diana’s Sprouted Almond Butter or you can use Peanut or cashew butter
1/8 Cup Unsweetened Organic Dark Cocoa Powder
2/3 Cup chopped, Diana’s Sprouted, Any Flavor (I use Original or Blueberry)
Mix first 3 ingredients till smoothRemove bottom layer from freezer
Spoon in top layer evenly onto bottom layerFinish with Diana's Sprouted
Place in plastic containers layered with waxed paper between.
Keep in freezer/refrigerator till ready to serve. Enjoy imediately!
